Dr. Stella Woodroffe is a licensed mental health counselor with over twenty-five years of experience working with adolescents and adults in educational and community settings. She currently is the director of Kingsborough Community College’s (KCC) Access–Ability Services, which serves as a disability resource, promotes equity, advances disability awareness, and provides reasonable and appropriate accommodations to self-identified KCC students with disabilities. Dr. Woodroffe also supervises KCC’s Linking Employment, Academics and Disability Services (LEADS) program, LEADS Plus for neurodiverse students, and Transition to College Support (TCS) for students with ASD. She is committed to working with students from a strengths perspective, encouraging them to identify and develop what they can do, rather than focus on what they cannot.
